Snowmobiling in Quebec is distinguished by a trail network that is the envy of all snowmobilers. With over 33,000 km of interconnected trails in virtually every corner of the province, it is one of the most formidable recreational trail networks in the world.
In fact, there are more kilometers of snowmobile trails scraped than kilometers of paved roads maintained by the Ministère des Transports du Québec! While the latter are the property of the State, this is not at all the case for snowmobile trails.
